the perfect cup

French Press

4 min 93°C Coarse
  1. 1Heat water to 93°C and pre-warm the press
  2. 2Add 30g of coarsely ground coffee
  3. 3Pour 500ml of water and wait 4 minutes
  4. 4Press the plunger slowly and serve

💡 Barista tip

Don't leave coffee in the press after serving — it over-extracts.

Pour Over V60

Pour Over (V60)

3 min 92°C Medium-fine
  1. 1Place the filter and rinse with hot water
  2. 2Add 20g of medium-fine ground coffee
  3. 3Pour 40ml of water and wait 30 seconds (bloom)
  4. 4Continue pouring in circles until you reach 320ml

💡 Barista tip

The bloom releases CO₂ and unlocks the full flavour of the bean.

Espresso

Espresso

25 sec 90°C Fine
  1. 1Grind 18g of coffee on a fine setting
  2. 2Distribute evenly and tamp with consistent pressure
  3. 3Extract for 25–30 seconds
  4. 4Look for a hazelnut-coloured crema as your indicator

If extraction takes less than 20 seconds, grind finer.

Each coffee comes from one of two regions we work with — Huila and Quindío — each with a unique flavour profile. Our Huila lots tend towards chocolate and walnut notes, while our Quindío lots lean smooth with citrus and honey. Special editions are premium micro-lots scoring 85+ on the SCA scale, with notes ranging from red berry to wine.
